The common problems with automatic spot welding machines during welding are: incomplete fusion of welding points and splashing during welding, which can lead to weak welding of the automatic spot welding machine. Therefore, in practical application, attention should be paid to:
1、 The welding points of the automatic spot welding machine are not fully melted, and the formation of fusion nuclei is insufficient or not formed
1. Not fully melted means that during spot welding, there is no "bean like" arrangement of fusion nuclei formed. This defect is very risky as it greatly reduces the strength of the solder joint.
2. Debug welding parameters. If the parameters have been confirmed to be correct, it is necessary to check the main power supply circuit, such as whether the power supply is sufficient and whether the welding transformer is damaged.
2、 Automatic spot welding machine overheating phenomenon
1. Check if the insulation resistance between the automatic spot welding machine pole base and the machine body is poor, resulting in a partial short circuit.
2. Check if the copper soft junction and electrode head touch surfaces are severely oxidized, resulting in increased touch resistance and severe heating.
3. Check whether the welding thickness and load duration of the automatic spot welding machine meet the standards, causing the welding machine to overheat due to overload.
4. Check whether the inlet pressure, water flow rate, and water supply temperature are appropriate, and whether the system is blocked by dirt, which may cause overheating of electrode arms due to insufficient cooling.
3、 Unexpected splashes occur during welding with an automatic spot welding machine
1. Check if the current of the automatic spot welding machine is too high or the pressure is too low.
2. Lack of welding workpiece strength: During welding, the current becomes smaller and smaller, resulting in weak welding.
