The electrode head of the intermediate frequency spot welding machine must be kept smooth. If the electrode wears or is damaged on the surface after a certain period of use, a copper wire brush can be used. High quality fine file or sandpaper for leveling, the specific method is as follows:
1. Place the fine grain flat file between the upper and lower levels, place the function selection knob in the "air valve" position, step on the foot switch to the bottom to clamp the file between the electrodes, rotate the file back and forth in the horizontal direction, wait for the contact surface between the two electrodes to be leveled, release the foot pedal, and reset the upper electrode;
2. Polish the electrode contact surface with fine sandpaper to maintain good contact between the electrode and the workpiece;
3. When the electrode loss is severe, it must be repaired using machine tools and other equipment.
